 •What is your height/head proportion?

Students pick one member of their group as a subject and then find a way to use only a roll of white paper tape to find the number "heads" that fit in the subject height to within a 1/16 or 1/32 fraction. Students repeat the measurement six times and then find a way to represent the degree of variation among their measurements and their estimated uncertainty and degree of confidence in their measurement.
