There is a great piece of software I have discovered recently which allows educators to design interactive web applets and works on any platform. I have also used the software as a learning tool in my classrooms.
This tool is available from www.geogebra.org .

Overview: Geogebra Curriculum Handbook
Geogeobra is a fairly new Open Source geometry program available to download from www.geogebra.org. It runs on the Java platform which you can download from www.java.com/download.
This program allows you to:
1. teach geometry using an easy to use user interface
2. build interactive geometry applets for your students to use
3. create very professional looking diagrams which can be exported to .png images.
