Stage 1:

  Take the idea of a asnwer machine, or voice mail and have students discuss the reasons why these forms of technology serve a purpose. Why were they devloped? What do they serve? Is technology a good thing? Science Log

Stage 2:

  Read pages 47-48 for homework then discuss the questions in class. Cover the points of identifying the problem they want to solve, determine a goal, research, brain storm new problem, and find a solution, then adjust the solution section.
