A stimulus can cause a response in a living organism. Responses to stimuli may be positive or negative. Most plants can respond slowly to stimuli, but some can respond very quickly.

Stage 1: look at how plants also respond to certian stimuli: Using either venus flytrap or sorrel.

Stage 2: Have student also set up an experiment with the earthworm in which they are placed in jars with soil mix and sand. Have them make observations in two days. |
