Key Questions, Concepts, or Themes: - What language allows us to converse about the structure and format of short stories? How does defining the structure and format of short stories allow us to begin to conceptualize our own short stories? How can we use literature that we are familiar with in order to better understand a concept?

Stage 1: Students will review parts of a short story collectively by sharing responses to questions from "Zlateh the Goat" (previous HW)
As a group, students will read project directions (attached) and will be assigned project groups. |

|
Stage 2: Project groups will work on the project, using each other and their textbook as a reference source.
|
|
|
Stage 3: Project groups will "teach" the class using their poster. Each group will introduce their topic and terms, and will spend time in a question and answer format.
