Stage 1: Sourcebook unit 2 patterns of living things. Getting started: Write on the chalk board, why weren't cells discovered unit 1665? The pass out cork and have the students go through the process of robert's Hookes own discovery. Have them describe and sketch thier own observations in thier science log.
