Stage 1: Pose the questions: How does the earth change? 

  Write students suggestions in one column of the board labled "Changes".

Ask: How can you tell that these changes have occured? Lable a second colunm "Evidence" 

Have them suggest evidence for each change listed. 

Stage 2: Watch a video based on landscape changes: 10 minute introduction.

Stage 3:

Science logs: What kinds of things does a geologist do?

Has the Earth always looked like it does now? In what ways so you think it has changed?

How do fossils help us to understand the Earth's past?

Is it possible to change ther location on the Earth?
