For future classes, it may be a good idea to use this unit as an opportunity to teach good presentation skills.  I think a good way to teach presentation skills is to have the students evaluate a presentation you give with intentionally poorly designed slides.  The delivery could also be intentionally bad (facing the board while reading, etc...).  Of course we should also do good things, like speaking loudly and clearly.  One way to accomplish this is to give the students an evaluation sheet that lets them quickly rank if they liked each slide on a scale from 1 to 5 and one thing that stood out about the slide.  This presentation can include the 4 or 5 things that you want the students to include in their presentations so you accomplish two things at the same time - introducing the first project and teaching skills.
