Learning objectives:

      - Students will evalute their peers' designs.

 

Key Questions, Concepts, or Themes:

     -Which of the proposed designs is the best?  If you could combine aspects from each design, which characteristics would you pick for your bridge?

 

Stage 1:

     -Students can complete their individual design, if necessary (~10 mins.) 

Stage 2:

     - Each group will come together and give each member 3 - 5 minutes to present his/her bridge idea. (~20 mins.)

Stage 3:

     - The groups will make a list of the characteristics of each design that they think will lead to the strongest design with the cost of the design as a limiting factor.
