Responsibility

Goal:  For student to define, identify and evaluate various aspects of responsibility

Day 1:

1. Lead students in reading the "Three legs of responsibility"
2. Madel for students: the Responsibility Scenario

Day 2: 

1. Break students into groups of 3
2. Assign each group a scenario and provide 10 minutes for them to process the senario
3. Have students share their answers to the questions

Day 3:  Action Plan

1. Write on the board: What can we do to promote responsibility in our school?
2. Have students do a "Formulate-Share-Listen-Create"
3. Decide as a class what action you will take

Day 4:  Apply the action which you decided upon in class

Day 5:  Evaluate and Reflect

1. Ask students to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy that they adopted
2. Have students reflect in writing on the following question:  What does it mean to be responsible?
