Responsibility

Goal: For student to define, identify and evaluate various aspects of responsibility
Day 1:
- Lead students in reading the "Three legs of responsibility"
- Madel for students: the Responsibility Scenario
Day 2:
- Break students into groups of 3
- Assign each group a scenario and provide 10 minutes for them to process the senario
- Have students share their answers to the questions
Day 3: Action Plan
- Write on the board: What can we do to promote responsibility in our school?
- Have students do a "Formulate-Share-Listen-Create"
- Decide as a class what action you will take
Day 4: Apply the action which you decided upon in class
Day 5: Evaluate and Reflect
- Ask students to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy that they adopted
- Have students reflect in writing on the following question: What does it mean to be responsible?
