Aloha and welcome to the integrative curriculum for the Hawai'i Traditional Medical Institute. Your input and contributions toward designing and creating the coursework for this project is appreciated. Your contributions will be subjected to rigorous empirical evaluation in the office and in the field. Our challenge is to combine the traditional and modern styles of teaching as a foundation for the curriculum. Because the skills required for successful completion of this curriculum combine hands-on knowledge as well as academic experience, the challenges are for teacher and student alike.
